Fire Safety Pledge Program and Fire Safety Quiz

The San Francisco Fire Department is a participant in this year's Fire Safety Pledge Program on BeFireSmart.com - the interactive fire safety resource for parents, teachers, firefighters and kids from Liberty Mutual.  Now through October 31st, 2010, learn more about fire safety and fire prevention by taking the Fire Safety Pledge Quiz.  Credit your completed quiz to the San Francisco Fire Department and your local firefighters could be one of ten fire departments to receive $10,000 for fire prevention activities in your neighborhood!

Now is your chance to learn, and at the same time, give back!  You could help the San Francisco Fire Department earn $10,000 this fall!

To help, simply:

1) Take the Quiz by October 31, 2010:  Fire Safety Pledge Quiz
2) Credit the San Francisco Fire Department
3) Rally Support in Your City

The quiz consists of 10 questions.  An example is: “Gasoline may be used safely to start a fire in a charcoal grill – True or False?”
The correct answer will pop up after every question.

After you submit this quiz, you will be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, and zip code.  If you provide your real e-mail address, you will be placed on an e-mail list that will send advertising and promotional messages.  To unsubscribe, find the “Thanks for participating” e-mail that will be automatically sent to your e-mail address.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “unsubscribe now” link that’s highlighted in blue.  Find the “Unsubscribe from All” button at the bottom of the page, click on that and you will be unsubscribed from all publications from “Be Fire Smart.”

THANK YOU FOR HELPING THE SAN FRANCISCO FIRE DEPARTMENT while learning about fire prevention!
