In February of this year, Fire Commissioner Victor Makras made an appeal to San Franciscans to drop off clothing donations for Haiti Earthquake Relief at their local Fire Stations.

After collecting three (3) - 40 foot containers worth of clothing donations, the ship is getting ready to sail.

On Saturday, June 19, 2010, members of the San Francisco Fire Department will be volunteering their time to get the containers loaded with all of the generous donations.  Loading will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until the task is complete.
