National Fire Prevention Week - October 8 - 14, 2006

WHAT: The San Francisco Fire Department is getting the word out! It's National Fire Prevention Week! This year's theme is Fire Safety in the Kitchen.

Find out what the Fire Department is doing in your community to reduce the number of kitchen fires and to help you protect yourself from the number one cause of fires in the home.

Come to one of the following locations to get helpful information on fire safety in the kitchen and to find out about various fire prevention programs in your community. Bring the kids and get a red firefighter's helmet to take home!
