SFFD announces Clothing Drive for the Children of Haiti

Red Cross - Haiti Relief EffortThe San Francisco Firefighters Union Local 798, along with the San Francisco Fire Commission and San Francisco Fire Department, has started a Clothing Drive (new or used clothes) for the children of Haiti.  The Clothing Drive will begin on Wednesday, February 3 and will end on Friday, February 12, 2010.  The donated clothes will then be shipped to Haiti and distributed to children and their families in the earthquake-effected areas.

All who live, work or visit San Francisco are encouraged to drop-off clothing for the children of Haiti at their neighborhood Firehouse.  Tax Exemption Forms will be available.  To find a Firehouse near you, please refer to the following link: Fire Station Locations

Remember, the last day to drop-off clothes at a firehouse is Friday, February 12, 2010.
