San Francisco Fire Department Conducting Public Tours of Twin Peaks Reservoir and Fire Pump Station 2
The San Francisco Fire Department is conducting public tours of two of San Francisco’s Auxiliary Water Supply System (AWSS) core facilities. The AWSS, a dedicated firefighting water supply system that was built following the Great Earthquake and Fire of 1906, is a unique and brilliantly engineered firefighting system.
