San Francisco, California, On February 15 at 10:19 PM, San Francisco Public Safety Teams from the San Francisco Fire Department, San Francisco Police Department, and United States Coast Guard were dispatched to reports of two subjects in the water at Pier 28 to Pier 32 off the Embarcadero.

San Francisco Public Safety Teams were able to successfully rescue one adult victim, who was treated and transported by San Francisco Fire Department EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Multiple 911 callers reported the second victim as being a male adult, and based on the reporting parties' observations, a search and rescue mission involving the San Francisco Fire Department Police Department and the United States Coast Guard was initiated.

During this rescue effort, Public Safety Teams utilized rescue boats, rescue watercraft, land-based firefighters and police officers for observation, boat-mounted sonar, infrared devices known as FLIR, and drone technology, all of which yielded no findings. This rescue mission was suspended at 11:30 PM due to lighting and conditions.
