On Friday, January 21st, 2022, Fire Chief Jeanine Nicholson will be administering the Oath of Allegiance and presenting certificates to our 27 newest Entry Level EMTs
“This group of men and women have completed a rigorous 8-week EMS Academy,” said Chief Nicholson. “Some will report to their assignments, marking the beginning of their year-long probationary period, as early as Saturday, January 22nd.”
Joining the ranks will be a diverse group of men and women from all walks of life, including previous EMS experience, business owners, the last chef to Disneyland, and project manager. These dedicated men and women are embarking on the beginning of a rewarding career with San Francisco’s finest. It will be a proud celebration for the new members, their families, and the San Francisco Fire Department.
