San Francisco, CA – The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride, Inc. honors EMS personnel by organizing and implementing long-distance cycling events that memorialize and celebrate the lives of those who serve every day, those who have become sick or injured while performing their duties, and those who have died in the line of duty. This year, the West Coast Chapter is riding from Reno, Nevada, to San Francisco, carrying dog tags for fallen Emergency Medical Services professionals who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The team will ride across the Golden Gate Bridge at 3:15 p.m. and conclude their journey at LANGDON, CT, SF, CA. A celebration, including Honor Guards, and the singing of Amazing Grace, is planned.
