Teamsters Union to Deliver Snow From the Sierras

San Francisco, CA – San Francisco Fire, San Francisco local 798 Firefighters, teamed up with the Teamsters Union to bring in 15 cubic yards of snow from the Sierras for some Holiday Cheer on the morning of December 21st, 2022, at 7:00 am. Local Law Enforcement Agencies will accompany the Teamsters Union across the Bay Bridge to bring some Holiday Spirit, Joy, and good tidings to San Francisco.

TIMELINE:

MEDIA CAN MEET CREWS AT 6:30 am at 2501 25TH Street if you want to follow the snow on the Bay Bridge. Otherwise: THE SNOW, ESCORTED BY LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES, WILL CROSS THE BAY BRIDGE AT 7:00 am and arrive at 2501 25th Street, Fire Station BOE, at 7:30. A press conference will be held at 7:45 highlighting the Holidays and the importance of Joy and Good tidings.

ADDITIONAL EVENT - Please join us at 2501 25th St from 7 pm to 10 PM (Judges arrive at 9 PM) for a SNOW THEMED Block Party; if you can, please bring an unwrapped toy to donate.
