Annual Surveillance Report Inventory

As part of legislation passed by the Board of Supervisors and signed by the Mayor back in 2019, City Departments possessing, using, or proposing the use of Surveillance Technologies must submit policies for use of these technologies for approval through the City’s Committee on Information Technology (COIT) and Board of Supervisors.   This has been established as Chapter 19B in the City’s Administrative Code, Acquisition of Surveillance Technologies.

Departments must also post a link to all completed Annual Surveillance Reports publicly on their website by November 1.  To view the current inventory of surveillance reports, please visit the City’s Annual Surveillance Report Inventory.
