Get Ready, Stay Ready Preparedness Fair

On Saturday, April 22, people from across the Bay Area will come together at the San Francisco Main Public Library and enjoy an afternoon of fun, community and preparedness.  

Hosted by The SF Department of Emergency Management, this FREE event will feature the following: 

  • Preparedness giveaways, including emergency go-bags 
  • Guests can earn a FREE LUNCH by participating in the resource fair where they can engage directly with agencies about readiness strategies and resources 
  • An earthquake simulator provided by Cal OES  
  • A display of first responder apparatus featuring San Francisco and Oakland Fire Departments and other public safety vehicles
  • A series of workshops about strategies to prepare for and recover from disasters 

The Main Library and Fulton Mall are wheelchair accessible and accessible to all. Accommodations provided will include: Informational materials in large print and ASL interpretations inside the Koret Auditorium.
