Request SFFD to Visit Your School

To encourage fire safety education for children, public and private school teachers may request a local fire company to visit their school.

Eligible schools must be:

located in the City & County of San Francisco
pre-school through high school
non-residential

For students between 5 and 11 years of age, please also consider a presentation by the San Francisco Firefighters in Safety Education (SFFISE) program. More information about SFFISE can be found here.

To request a local fire company to visit your school, please complete the form below. Requests must be submitted at least TWO (2) WEEKS PRIOR to the date you are requesting your visit. Morning visits are at 10AM and afternoon visits are at 2PM unless otherwise requested. Please note that all requests are subject to availability. Visits may be cancelled at the last minute with no notification due to emergency response or firefighter training requirements.
