Records Request Complaints

File a complaint with the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force if you believe that the SFFD has improperly withheld a record or otherwise failed to fulfill its obligations under the City's Sunshine Ordinance. The San Francisco Sunshine Ordinance Task Force independent of the SFFD will review the matter and hold a hearing if it deems one is necessary. If the Task Force determines that the Department has improperly withheld a record, the Task Force will order the Department to release the record.

Language Access Complaints

The SFFD is committed to providing services to everyone regardless of English Language proficiency in accordance with the San Francisco’s Language Access Ordinance (LAO). You may file a complaint through the San Francisco Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs if you believe you have not received adequate Language Access Services through the SFFD.
