Assistant Deputy Chief Mullin began his career with the SFFD in May of 1998. He promoted through the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain and Battalion Chief. He was appointed Assistant Deputy Chief of Support Services in June, 2023.

Assistant Deputy Chief Mullin spent most of his career in Battalion 6 serving as a Firefighter on Truck 7, Lieutenant on Rescue 2 and captain of Truck 7. He most recently served as a Battalion Chief in Battalion 6.

He is co-chair of the Policy and Procedure workgroup and was previously an Instructor at San Francisco City College Fire Academy. He graduated with a B.A. in Labor Studies from San Francisco State University.

He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two daughters.
