Patrick D’Arcy
Patrick D’Arcy joined the San Francisco Fire Department in 2001 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. From 2013 – 2015, he served as Shift Captain at the SFFD Airport Division. Promoted to Battalion Chief in 2017, he served for three years as the Chief of Dispatch and Liaison to the Department of Emergency Management at Emergency Communications and then returned to the Field and was assigned to Battalion 6, assisting the Mission District and Noe Valley areas. Since June 2022, Chief D’Darcy returned to SFO as the Assistant Deputy Chief, Airport Division.
Prior to working in the SFFD, Chief D’Arcy served as a firefighter in San Mateo and Fresno Counties. He has served six years on the SFFD Mutual Aid and Communications Committees and currently serves on the FIRESCOPE Task Force, representing San Francisco and other Fire Departments within Northern California
In his spare time, Chief D’Arcy enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children.
