This program provides 30-minute interactive fire & life safety presentations to elementary school students, grades K-5.  The program is operated by the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting burn prevention education and enhancing the quality of life for burn survivors and their families.  Program volunteers are recruited from the San Francisco Fire Department.

Request for Fire Department to Observe a Fire/Evacuation Drill
The San Francisco Fire Code does not require Fire Department participation in, or observation of, Fire/Evacuation Drills in multi-unit or multi-use buildings. Further, we are not always available to do so. However, as a courtesy, and if available, we will accommodate requests to observe Fire Drills.
