SFFD Lockbox (Key Box) Program

The KNOX eKey lockboxes, called KnoxBox 3200 was implemented for use on September 6, 2024 and must be purchased directly from KNOX.  Building owners also have the option to purchase the larger KnoxVault 4400.  The KNOX lockboxes and vaults are available for purchase at the link listed below.

Owners of buildings with Hazardous (H) and Laboratory (L) Occupancies will be required to install the lockboxes prior to July 1, 2011.  Other building owners who elect to install lockboxes voluntarily will be directed to purchase a KnoxBox 3200 or KnoxVault 4400 at KNOX.  Only H and L Occupancies will be required to install a lockbox.
